Here is a list of banks that issue credit cards. Notice that you do not contact Visa, Discover, Master Card, American Express directly. You notify the bank that issued the card if you suspect fraud. 

Typically you don't notice the fraud as a merchant until the money is removed from your account. About 10 days later you will receive a notice in the mail that details the problem. Somewhere in that documentation will be the name of the bank. Once you get that name come here to get the phone number.

Have all your documentation ready to fax. The bank that has created the charge back will ask for:

• The Invoice or the Bill of Sale

• Some proof of shipment

Even after providing those articles you will still have to fight it out with the bank in question. To them the customer is always right and you the merchant get stuck.
